Ive been kind of electroed-out the last few weeks. I just havent really been all that into it. Ive been secretly collecting chill out tunes and replay old deep house tracks. This mix was made the other day when I was just kind of killing time waiting for Keith Olbermann to come on. There are a few rough spots, but hey, nobody’s perfect.

Progressive House. I know I bitched about hating House music in a previous post, but this is different. Progressive House has many of the things Im looking for, its got the heavy bass line, its got the melodic electro-ish synths (sometimes it gets a bit to Trancey for my taste). I think the thing about House that I dont like is that most of it doesnt have a soild bass. Its all so disco-synth and horn driven that it gets on my nerves. Although I did just discover some House I do like, Mike Milk and Steve Sugar. Anyway I digress. Back to the subject at hand, this mix is pretty mellow, its good background music while your doing something else. Running time is 39 minutes and 39 seconds containing 9 tracks. Im still following the Harmonic Mixing method of picking songs by key.

Its been awhile.. been really busy. I think this is a pretty good mix, its probably one of the better ones Ive made recently. Length is 54 minutes and 29 seconds. I flubbed about 2 seconds of the first track and there is one brief bit of the wrong track and I think there is one screw up tword the end where it trainwrecks briefly, sometimes the “sync” button doesnt work and you got to click it like 100 times to get the beats to match. There is a song after “Nsex” which isnt listed in the play list, see if you can name that tune

Its been awhile since Ive had some time to play any music. Ive been sick this week so I thought it might be a good time to take a few minutes away from everything else and see if I couldnt find some relaxation through some good music. Im not sure how good this is, im kind of delirious still with the sickness.. It starts off kind of housey then goes to some deeper type house for awhile and builds back up to something a little more electro. so be nice if you decide to comment..
