Comment:	Im not sure what it says when the track starts but it goes into a single not piano stab over a light beat and hi hat combo. The voice says something again and then a more substabsian beat kicks in. There is another distorded voice that says something then several voices start saying things at the same time. The single note piano stab and light beat never change. It keeps on and on like this for what seems like froever.

Comment:	Oh yeah this is a classic from the 90s. Higher State of Consciousness is a great song and has long been a favorite. Though I dont find it particularly useful in the music I like to mix, for some reason I just really like it. It starts off with a kick, snare, kick snare medium beat. At 0:30 were introduced to one of the main elements of this track, the ‘higher state of conciousness’ voice and at 1:00 were introduced to the other main element of this track, the acid-electro bassline. The introduction of the bassline also sets up another recuring theme of this song, the build-up. At 2:50 we get the begining of the major break and the major build up. It builds up and up and up all the way to 4:00 when we reach the peak and are bombarded with what I call the R2D2 acid-bass (which is just a higher pitched version of the original bassline). It continues with various length mini-build-ups the rest of the way to the end.

Comment:	Male vocal stabs and a medium hard beat start this track off. It quickly breaks into a electro synth-bass buildup and then just as quickly the synth becomes the bassline and the beat is back with added Female vocal echos. At 1:38 is when this track really gets going. The Female vocals start in full force. They arent lyrical but repetitive hooks. There is a really long (over a minute) break that starts at 2:38 and builds up with a mixture of synth and vocal hooks. The second half of the song after the break is pretty much the same as the first. It ends with a drum and tom-tom solo beat.

Comment:	Robbie Rivera is another one of my favorites these days. Sadly however, this track is not a favorite. With a deep hard beat and deep tribal tom-toms through out the intro the intro builds up from toms to a really deep hard driving beat that has some real minimal electro noises. The song pretty much stays deep, dark and minimal through out. A steady hat line comes in and there is the occasional synth stab but its pretty much minimal bass, beat and computer bleep.

Comment:	A soild medium hard beat backed by a soild but quiet electro bass opens this track. After 0:30 a nice hi hat line starts to kick in as the intro nears its end. A voice pronouces that “Thats the bass..” and then the real bassline kicks in, a kind of synth-electro sound. There are lots of random computer blips in the background. 2:15 find us at a major break. The break is powered by some synth computer type beeps that build up on top of a solo drum beat which the rest of the tracks instruments are gradually added back to. The computer-synth line from the break continues and becomes the lead line for pretty much the rest of the song. There are some random male vocal hooks thrown in twords the end. All and all not bad but kind of minimal.
