Top 10 Most Played

According to Traktors “Play Count” column these are the top 10 songs that I listen to and or mix with. I dont exactly agree with this list. In my opinion this represents an older smaller library of music with limited selection, thus the high play counts (not shown) for these songs.

Currently my collection of music has doubled or even tripled in size of when I feel this list represents.

Review: Jake Childs: Greedy Eyes feat. Lil’ Prince (Original Mix)

Artist: Jake Childs
Label: Mouth To Mouth
Genre: House
Title: Greedy Eyes feat. Lil’ Prince
Time: 04:53
Remixer: -
Date: -
Comment: Deep medium beat with snares. It takes 0:45 before we get anything but beat and snare. A funky deep bass comes in and is quickly joined by a male vocal. This tracks vocals are lyrical with mixed vocal hooks. Once again this track contains explicit lyrics. Its similar to Jake Childs other track Blowin Up My Phone. Deep and funky with minimal overtones.

Review: Jake Childs: Satisfy (Lil Mark Remix)

Artist: Jake Childs
Label: Lost My Dog
Genre: House
Title: Satisfy
Time: 06:03
Remixer: Lil Mark
Date: 2006/01/01
Comment: Heavy on the hats and the claps and with a fast, short, skippy beat. The bass line is just as fast and skippy and is very minimal. This track would make a good soundtrack to a bouncing ball. At 1:20 we get a piano that stabs away at a single note over and over again along with the beat, it fades in and out. A synth soon joins and does the same thing, stabs repeatedly at two notes. This track is very strange and very minimal. It repeats over and over again adding different sounds that stab at single notes then fade out.
