A short Electro mix. About half way though I started to play with effects and loops a bit more than usual trying to learn some new stuff. It didnt turn out all that good, but you dont learn if you dont try. This mix is short, 6 songs, mostly a deep slightly darker electro sound. Comments??

Progressive House — Mix #008
Its been awhile since Ive had some time to play any music. Ive been sick this week so I thought it might be a good time to take a few minutes away from everything else and see if I couldnt find some relaxation through some good music. Im not sure how good this is, im kind of delirious still with the sickness.. It starts off kind of housey then goes to some deeper type house for awhile and builds back up to something a little more electro. so be nice if you decide to comment..

| Comment: | Classic kick and hi-hat intro with windy-synth build up. This track is full of sample, scratch, loops, and effects. Its all over the place all the time. The beat is a medium hard and there isnt much of an electro bass, its more of a funky synth bass thats hard to hear in the background behind all the samples. Theres male vocal hook loops of various sayings through out the track. This track is hard to describe really, it just sounds like somebody went wild with the sampler and threw it all together over a basic beat and basic bass line and called it a day. I would say that this isnt Dj Dans best work. |
