Progressive House. I know I bitched about hating House music in a previous post, but this is different. Progressive House has many of the things Im looking for, its got the heavy bass line, its got the melodic electro-ish synths (sometimes it gets a bit to Trancey for my taste). I think the thing about House that I dont like is that most of it doesnt have a soild bass. Its all so disco-synth and horn driven that it gets on my nerves. Although I did just discover some House I do like, Mike Milk and Steve Sugar. Anyway I digress. Back to the subject at hand, this mix is pretty mellow, its good background music while your doing something else. Running time is 39 minutes and 39 seconds containing 9 tracks. Im still following the Harmonic Mixing method of picking songs by key.

Welcome to my latest mix. This one is a little different than the others, its longer and has more variety of music. Its got a little of everything, even a few classic cover song remixes! This mix covers everything from super mellow progressive house to hard electro house at the end and everything in between in the middle. The first half is Progressive House and is pretty mellow. After a trip to mellowville on the Progressive Express we catch the Disco train to Electro Town! I tried to mix in a lot of different music to make it a little different than what Ive been doing lately. The last song cuts off at the first break, I had to go.

Comment:	Starts with a hard beat solo and is joined by a twinkly synth at 0:30. The classic windy synth builup follows to a vocal break. The break is at 1:00 and has lyrical male vocals. At 1:27 the break ends with a hard electro bassline and a steady hard beat. The beat and bass are soon joined by some vocal synths and the twinkly synth from the intro. It continues like this for awhile adding and subtracting various space synth sounds. There is another break at 5:15. This break is the main lyrical body of this track and is pretty much accapella vocals with some space synth. At 6:50 we get the beat and the bass back. There is one last vocal hook section and then it starts a long fade out dropping one sound at a time until its just the beat and bassline at the end.

Comment:	A very hard beat starts this track off right. Quickly joined by a muted hi-hat the song continues to gain momentum as a shaker and synth line soon join to start a steady build up. At 1:00 we get a synth break with some male vocals that continues to build on the intros build up. We finally get let off the build up at 1:59 when the beat and hats come back in force. There is a heavy electro synth but you dont really hear much of a bass line. Male vocals with echo effects soon replace the synth lines and its just beat and vocals for about 0:45 seconds. Then were back to the heavy electro synth, beat and hi-hats and again the male vocals hooks repeat. There is another long vocal break at 4:10 goes for almost a minute followed by another build up that starts at about 5:02. The end is kind of lame as it just kind of fades out for a minute till it ends.
