Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2009! I hope everything went well for you last year and that this year is even better. So far for me, its been kind of rough. Been extremely busy with work (ugh!) and trying to get several new projects off the ground.

This mix is probably one of the best Ive made in awhile. It goes from hard electro to kind of mellow progressive and then kind of bobs and waves around a kind of dark electro house sound.

Ive been kind of electroed-out the last few weeks. I just havent really been all that into it. Ive been secretly collecting chill out tunes and replay old deep house tracks. This mix was made the other day when I was just kind of killing time waiting for Keith Olbermann to come on. There are a few rough spots, but hey, nobody’s perfect.

This is the first mix that I used the Harmonic Mixing technique. I have a few issues with this method of mixing. My main issue is that it severely limits what your able to play unless you have an absolutely huge music selection to choose from. I find it hard to stay within certain harmonies because of a lack of material to play. I have almost no “major” key music, I think there might be like 10 tracks or less. So theres a problem right there.

Anyway, this mix is less electro and more house. Its kind of mellow, its not super hard banging electro like some of the stuff Ive been listening to lately. This is kind of chill. Ive also changed the way that the tracks are listed below, insted of the time column representing the length of the track, it now represents the point at which that track is brought into the mix.

Okie Dokie here we go again. Been really busy, sorry I havent updated the site in long time. This mix is kind of experimental. I tried to cut more and mix shorter and more often. Its hard electro mostly with some other stuff thrown in for shits and giggles.

Its been awhile since Ive had some time to play any music. Ive been sick this week so I thought it might be a good time to take a few minutes away from everything else and see if I couldnt find some relaxation through some good music. Im not sure how good this is, im kind of delirious still with the sickness.. It starts off kind of housey then goes to some deeper type house for awhile and builds back up to something a little more electro. so be nice if you decide to comment..

I made a boo boo, I forgot to stop the recording so it ends the music at about 53 minutes, but theres another 20 minutes of blank nothing. sorry about that, my bad.
